I would like to share with you all, a thought provoking beautifully worded poem, reflecting on the launch of a rocket, that I gleaned from my old diary (author unknown)

Fuelled by a million man made wings of fire,
the rocket tore through the sky,
and everyone cheered.

Fuelled only by the thought from God,
the tiny seedling urged its way
through the thickness of black,
and as it pierced the heavy ceiling of the soil,
and launched itself into outer space -
no one even clapped.

How very true. We see the miracles in nature happening each passing day, the glorious creation of Allah enfolding before our very eyes, but we do not care to reflect and give it a passing thought.

Have we ever pondered that out of the dark soil blooms forth beautiful flowers of innumerable colours, hues and varieties, each distinct and unique. Have we ever wondered that out of the same very dark soil, comes forth, fruit bearing, shade giving trees, and vegetables of diverse taste,colours and variety of fragrance. Have we ever given a passing thought, that how and why does a mango seed bear a mango fruit and not orange or apple.

If we are to lift water to our first floor flat, we need a hydro pump set, and how come the water from the soil reaches the top branches and leaves of a lofty tree.

Why are we not clapping at the miracles of nature and Glorifying the name of Allah, the All Knowing.

Have we ever wondered how an ivy reaches out to the branch and winds itself on it, as if guided by some unforeseen knowledge.

Let us always reflect on the wondrous creation of Allah.

May Allah grant our beloved Aqa Moula (TUS) sehato-afiyaat-ta- kiymaat.Ameen
